Scarecrow Festival Returns to Peddler’s Village This Weekend

Fall is tantalizingly close, and the Scarecrow Festival on September 14th is where you’ll want to be for a taste of some early-season fun. It’s not your average any-day-of-the-week stroll through Peddler’s Village—it’s a full-on fall fest with tons of activities. Peddler’s Village is one of the most charmingly adorable spots in Bucks County, and it really comes to life during the Scarecrow Festival.

This annual event is a beloved tradition for both locals and visitors –  explore over 100 unique scarecrow displays crafted by talented locals and have fun trying your hand at creating your own scarecrow. Plus, with all the apple cider, pumpkin treats, and other local seasonal eats, it’s a whole mood.

Scarecrows Gone Wild

The festival’s main attraction is, of course, the scarecrows! We’re talking about scarecrows in every style imaginable—traditional? Sure. Wacky and out-of-the-box? You bet. And the best part—you get to vote for your fave. Who wouldn’t want that all that power?

Time to Get Crafty

Ever looked at a scarecrow and thought, “I could do that better?” Well, now’s your chance to put your craftyness where your mouth is. At the scarecrow-making workshop, you can put your DIY skills to the test. They’ve got all the materials; you just bring the creativity.

Fun for the Fam (or Just You, No Judgment)

Scarecrows might be the stars of the show, but there’s also a full lineup of activities for everyone.
You sippy cup CEOs will love the face painting and pumpkin decorating, adults can hit local craft vendors and check out the shops. Live music will keep the energy going, and honestly, it’s just a good time all around.

Fall Treats for Days

After all that crafting and scarecrow voting, you’re gonna need a silly little treat. Good news: Peddler’s Village has all the seasonal snacks you could ask for. We’re talking warm apple cider, pumpkin spice everything, and caramel apples that’ll take you straight back to your childhood. To be honest, the food alone is worth the trip.

Peddler’s Village is already a fall lover’s dream, and the Scarecrow Festival just takes it to another dimension.
